The Prime Minister of Belize has set August 15th as the official date to reopen the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport in Belize. In an effort to keep all travellers visiting Belize informed, we invite you to visit https://www.travelbelize.org/health-safety to get up-to-date information on reopening, protocols and national guidelines including documents that may be required. 

For those who are at the present time visiting the US and whose stay in the US had to be extended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, please read these updates at the USCIS website under “Special Situations” (https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/special-situations).

COVID-19 CONTROLLED REPATRIATION FOR DISPLACED BELIZEANS ABROAD

If you are a Belizean who has been unable to return home to Belize due to the closure of our borders as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, you will now be able to do so BUT with prior coordination and approval with the Government of Belize. ​

The Consulate of Belize in Florida is offering the services of Consular IDs and Travel Documents by mail only. To obtain the requirements you may call or send us an email.
